Osita Peter was born into a Christian family of Mr and Mrs Peter Asogwa, he is the second born and first son of six siblings. His parents where pioneer members of Deeper Life Church Headquarters in Minna Niger State, he grow up with a strong foundation of the word of God, Bible teaching and systematic expository study of God’s word, precepts and principles.

As a youth his passion for singing and music made him leave Deeper Life Bible Church where his father was a Praise leader (Chorus leader) to Faith Foundation Church Tunga, Minna, he joined the Choir where he grow from backup singer to taking solos and then became a worship leader and Assistant Music Director

He served faithfully for several years as a worship leader in Faith Foundation Church Minna under the leadership of the Senior Pastor and founder, Pastor Yerima El-Samaila while in the University, where he had the privilege to minister before notable great men of God like Pastor E. A. Adeboye, former President Yakubu Gowon, Rev. Joe Olaiya, Pastor Charles Achonwa, Rev. Moses Aransiola, Pastor Emmanuel Kure and a host of other anointed men of God

Osita Peter is a lover of God and a worship leader, singer and a song writer who has led music groups and choir at different levels. He hails from Enugu State, was born in Kaduna over four decades ago, married to a beautiful wife Mrs Oluwatomisin with two children: Chidera and Munachimso

He obtained a B-Tech degree in Geology from Federal University of Technology Minna and has worked and risen to enviable height in the corporate business world

He served faithfully for several years as a worship leader in Faith Foundation Church Minna under the leadership of the Senior Pastor and founder, Pastor Yerima El-Samaila while in the University, where he had the privilege to minister before notable great men of God like Pastor E. A. Adeboye, former President Yakubu Gowon, Rev. Joe Olaiya, Pastor Charles Achonwa, Rev. Moses Aransiola, Pastor Emmanuel Kure and a host of other anointed men of God

He also served as pastor and a music minister in Pentecost Glorious Assembly, Utako Abuja, under the Senior Pastor, Pastor Bayo Somefun, where he was the Head of Music Department and a worship leader for over a decade

He is currently a music minister and member of Dunamis International Gospel Center Headquarters, Airport Road Abuja, submitting under the Prophetic covering and able Leadership of the Senior Pastor, Dr. Pastor Paul Enenche

Osita Peter has in the course of his worship music career been blessed to share stage with Mike Aremu, Goke Ode, Pastor Elijah Oyelade, Solomon Lange, Dunsin Oyekan, Prosper Ochimana, Steve Crown, Tope Sax, TaSara and also featured Mike Aremu, Elijah Oyelade, Dunsin Oyekan, Kunle Ayo and E-Daniels on his album and singles already released

His passion for true worship and by the leading of God, he envisioned and started a movement called Sound of True Worship whose mandate is to raise true worship and worshippers who will worship God in spirit and in truth John 4:23 through writing, recording and releasing heavenly inspired worship songs, poems, books and organizing worship meetings all around the globe

He has received, written and released great songs like “Jesus” “Nmalite Na Ogwugwu” “Ah Oluwa”, “Amazing GOD” “Mungode”“Yahweh, I worship You” “Tire Ni” “Take Over Me” “Nani Gi” “Take It Back (Restoration)”and many more as singles and also included in his 14 tracks album titled Sound of True Worship[My Offering] with videos shot in Abuja – Nigeria and Johannesburg SA , All available on YouTube, iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Spotify, Google Play, iHeartRadio and other music streaming platforms
